A Tale of Generosity

One of the volunteer teachers at the “Free school under the Bridge in Delhi” has narrated a fascinated story about humanity months ago. He spends time with these kids and often visits their homes and farms in the slums area. There have been moments which have touched him deeply.

"While visiting Gaurav´s home, I noticed a few goats. My immediate question to Gaurav´s father was, "Doesn´t the milk sale hikes during dengue outbreak as it is believed to enhance the platelet count?" To this he replied, "People do come here when there is dengue outbreak, but we don´t charge them extra. We only care about them getting well"

I had asked the similar questions to other goat owners and invariably got the same response."

This regains my faith in humanity. These people are epitome of generosity and thus prove that to help someone, you need not be rich. If you want to meet these angels, visit them at the Yamuna river bank. These are the ones who have little for themselves but are the most generous ones.
