!!! IMPORTANT STATEMENT !!! As the financial transparency in fund is no longer given and through lack of cooperation and communication on the part of the current teacher I recommend to distribute your donations directly among the children.

200 kids enrolled still need help. So I appeal to page followers, specially to those who are in India, to help in following manner:

1) Any doctors? Occasional check ups for kids at school, or at surrounding slum area will be great help. In 2015 the school has lost 2 of its kids (A 9 years old girl dies of snakebite and a 12 years old boy lost his life in an accident) to death and the loss was unbearable.

2) Volunteering Being a regular volunteer is difficult but a few hours of yours at school, giving lessons in Math/Science concepts or few new English words would be a great help.

3) Donating notebooks, pencils, battery lights etc Donating regular supplies to kids in slum area will help , more specially to younger siblings of the students who do not come to school. School unfortunately can´t accommodate more than 200 students so there are significant number of students not going to school.

4) Help to enroll a child Enrollment for new school year are going on. Pick a child and sponsor him into a regular school. It does not take more than 600/700 RS per month.

5) Spend some time in the surrounded slums where most of the kids live and interact with mothers and teach them about health and hygiene and issues like family planing.

Every child has something in him/her, that makes him special. A word of praise, a smile, a handshake or hug, any gesture from your side is welcome, just to let them know people on the more fortunate side of the spectrum care about their schooling and well being. Please talk to your friends and invite them to visit the kids.
